Scholarships available for special education teachers
In an effort to increase the percentages of highly qualified teachers and personnel, the Maine Department of Education, Office of Special Services, is offering scholarships for those professionals pursuing professional development in the field of special education and related fields.
Speech language, occupational and physical therapists who are not fully qualified, along with educational technicians hoping to become qualified to work with children with disabilities, will be eligible for an upcoming round of scholarship awards.
